38/365 - last attempt at the juxtaposition theme of the week...my ideas are way too silly :) Some friends came out with me today so I didn't look as goofy by myself with my tripod.
I don't dress like this, if you know me you know that. I love dressing up nice and have alot of stuff to do that with, but this suit was taaaaacky. The worst part was going to get an ice cream afterwards at McD's and of course, seeing people I know :) I got this suit today at the free store, where a lady I know works. I planned to shoot her familys photos last weekend, but we will have to do it this weekend instead, anyway, she was there so that was cool.
I just thought it would be cool to see a business lady hitchiking out of town :) hehehehe, that sounds juxtaposed to me.
I love getting to do a photo everyday, I have been a bit more balanced out with the time I'm putting into my shots and into my other activities during the day. Went to the gym today, got Rah to karate and hung out there to watch, went to the diner for some b-fast, worked and now still working on finite math :) What a Friday night eh :) If I hadn't put it off till now then I would be on the way to Bozeman for BassNectar. Going bowling tomorrow night instead and to the Wailers Sunday I guess. I don't know, I just feel like I'm not out doing enough lately.
Okay enough is enough :)

Wicked awesome conversation with way interesting intelligent people at the park while doing my 365 today. Flickr meet Simon, Josh, and Christene. Christene waited on me once at Cafe DeCamp (yum...) we figured out, and man it was just a cool time hanging with them for a few today. I took one shot, and this was it. I miss days like this, welcome back sunshine, summer, and sandals :D

When I took this particular shot, Priscilla Ahn's song "Dream" was on...listen to it here it's amazing and I absolutely love this song, I could listen to it over and over and love it everytime. I found this hoodie when I was cleaning out the porch. Spring break has been for cleaning and math homework...I was supposed to start working out, but I managed to run this morning for awhile which was good. I think I can get to the gym tomorrow.
This is also thanks to Stuart saying something that reminded me just being me is original enough anytime, anyday, anywhere. So thanks again Stuart. I appreciate that.
37/365 - i guess...I'm still mad indecisive about it, but i guess. :)
I did some shooting downtown, and will post those after some math I think...we'll see, I'm not too happy with what I got, but we'll see.

what did the hippie do at the board meeting? ...besides smell like patchouli? daydream about the ozone layer and the organic hummus feta wrap she had for lunch and the new Dr. Brohner's shampoo she scored for her dreadlocks.
This is 37.5/365 I guess...I still can't decide, all I know is I have to start working on some finite math...Yay! lol:) Spring break is here, but I still have homework for school to be doing. If I had kept up on this online class maybe I wouldn't but eh, gotta do it now.

in downtown B-town...As I was walking away, a fellow homeless person reminded me I needed to get "hobo cody"'s permission to take his photo. Told me to "look it up", I re-assured him I had looked it up, and he was in a public place and therefore if I wasn't going to re-print his photo I could take as many as I wanted. :D I also reminded the other gentleman that hobo cody was asleep...looked pretty comfortable to me, considering he was on a corner at a semi-busy intersection at 5 o'clock. enjoythelittlethings on Flickr: Posted a Photo

33/365 - No I don't go "to church" on Sundays...I really don't "find God" in church...sometimes I feel a power when I am at church, but that's rare and inconsistent. I really believe it has so much more to do with me and what actions I am taking. I believe God honors your efforts, like some people say 'Seek and ye shall find' or something like that, and those two statements are kinda the same. Either way I choose to pray on my knees, and it's workin much better than going to church on Sundays for me :)

32/365 - and dear 365, sorry for the late upload...you know you have my undivided attention most of the time, but it was so nice to have a well-needed break, and this shot is just fine for today :) Had an awesome day and super fun evening, I loved staying out hanging with Stuart, super good times! And if ur reading this Stuart, I'm lucky to have gotten to hang with you like I did, thank you for being in my life!!
I am eager to continue learning more about photography, and I am still undecided if I want to take a class or not. It will be nice to wait and see what time I have available when the class is offered. I am leaning toward no right now, but that no is most likely just until fall, where I can audit the class at Rocky (i think) :) It is so hard for me to make decisions, so right here, right now I have everything I need, and that is a big deal :)

31/365 - haha :) I was about to say, we don't stand out - we're outstanding, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it and to sound that lame :)
S and I went stranger shooting at the mall when we got to detour down these hallways to visit with "mall security" mmhmm...about possibly being terrorists, and/or having inappropriate photos taken with our cameras of their mall patrons. Hehehe...I think that's what he meant anyway...I really think he just wanted to scroll through our shots to see if there were any nudes but hey that's just me.
I am having a fabulous time running around with S today and tonight, I am a lucky girl. We got some awesome shots of strangers which I spose I'll get around to uploading sometime. Either way, it's an awesome day! Glad I have pics to remember it by. enjoythelittlethings on Flickr: Posted a Photo

parked here, on a one lane trail, up a hill beneath the rims with about 45 minutes until class started today at 2. Got done, walked back to the truck, found keys in the ignition and iPhone inside :) And of course it was locked...So i got a nice 'jog' in and found my way to the cermamix studio for class :) threw one awesome bowl, and finished up my 5 mug mug-set. I really blissed out in ceramics despite the situation, I just knew it would be okay (and I know my dad has an extra key) :) got it unlocked and my bio notes out to study for the test at 6ish, and an all around groovy day. Excited for the weekend, and glad I now get one week off of school, only to hit the gym harder to be ready for the bridesmaid dress this April :)

29/365 - i love lawn furniture. lawn darts. lawn tubs. you know, i must have been a porch monkey in another life. and who knew using a real duck is so much better than a rubber ducky?! Oh well, the things you get to learn in a lifetime. Like hang ur robe on a branch high enough so the neighbor's dog doesn't get it :)

I was out here for around an hour before I found a place(back at where I came in) to set up for the photo.
I had actually set up about 200 yards closer to the hills, then I bailed and ran(like seriously ran) back to this spot. This turned out to be a move that I like.
I waited like 25 or so more minutes for the sun to peer over the South Hills(guess the running wasn't that important).
Just before the sunrise I moved the camera up to include a little more sky, a move that i just can't stand now! (I should have realized the sky didn't offer much and kept focus on the foreground).
I should have left it, but am happy with the results for the most part, seems like lately I haven't been having great luck with the photo area of life.
I do really like the twin starburst(used to be my favorite candy, but I hate laffy taffy, so that is wierd) in this image. I saw a photo from this gentleman and really liked it. So when I got here and saw the smooth water I knew that it was going to be something I wanted to incorporate/try.
Catching the sun just as it hits the horizon has become my favorite type of photogrpahy, it can be challenging because you sit and wait and wait, then you have like a minute to get what you want, then its just the sun.
I do have to say, that after sitting here for a while in the really cold river air, and keeping my hands on a handwarmer... It was well worth the wait... the sun felt soooo good as it came up, I stood there basking for like 10 minutes... man what a feeling! enjoythelittlethings on Flickr: Posted a Photo

when i look down, i just miss all the good stuff...when i look up i just trip over things
One of the women I work with has to take some classes titled "Seeking Safety." I have no idea what they are about but the name came to mind when I was trying to think of a title for this. I had a really good, back-on-track kind of day so I'm not sure about the 'somber-ish' look here...baffles me a bit...and I wonder what level it's on, where it comes from, and why it's there at all...either way, hence the tones here.
Thought about trying out bench monday, but I always wanted to shoot here so we made it at sunset today :)
